Guizhou Jijun Semiconductor display driver chip packaging and testing, glass cover project put into production

On September 28, the opening ceremony of Guizhou Jijun Semiconductor Industrial Park and the commissioning ceremony of display driver chip packaging and testing and glass cover projects were held in Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Area.

It is understood that the Guizhou Jijun Semiconductor Industrial Park project fully combines the functional advantages of Guiyang Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, such as bonded and tax-free, and targets the international market. It focuses on the design, packaging and testing of display driver chips, and extends the industrial chain to the optoelectronic industry FPC wiring, backlight modules, glass covers, display module integration and other links, creating an industrial ecosystem that integrates industrial chain and supply chain. Within the year, the project will be built according to regulations. In 2025, the import and export volume is expected to be no less than 4 billion yuan, and strive to reach 6 billion yuan, building it into the largest and most representative optoelectronic display manufacturing industrial park in Guizhou.

Previous reports showed that the Guiyang Comprehensive Insurance·Jijun Optoelectronic Display Manufacturing Industrial Park project was invested and constructed by Shenzhen Xingjun Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of approximately US$210 million. The project will be settled in Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Area in 2023, with a total land area of approximately 65,000 square meters and a construction area of approximately 100,000 square meters.

The company mainly produces products for the entire display industry chain, and is expected to reach 10 billion yuan after full production. In addition, during the construction of the industrial park, the company will simultaneously introduce display chips, LCD modules, backlight modules, FPCUpstream and downstream supporting companies such as cable arrangement and electronic wearable products have settled in, striving to build a tens-billion-level optoelectronic display manufacturing industrial park.
