On October 13, Shanxi Hi-Tech Video Technology Co., Ltd.’s MLED new display panel production project (Phase II) is stepping up construction. The main body and secondary structure of the power room have been completed. The main structure of No. 2 Factory is about 85% complete, and the overall progress is smooth.
The project will be constructed in two phases, including 2 factory buildings, a power room and supporting facilities. Among them, the first phase investment is 1 billion yuan, and the second phase investment is 3.5 billion yuan. A 100,000 square meter clean factory will be built, and a display panel production line and related supporting power equipment will be purchased and installed.
It is reported that the first-phase project has officially entered the production equipment installation stage in March 2024, and successfully achieved product pilot testing; in November of the same year, a bidding announcement was also issued for the production supporting equipment of the first-phase expansion (10,000㎡/month) project of Hi-Tech Video.
According to data, Shanxi Hi-Tech Video is led by Hi-Tech Huaye Group. The company was established in 2023 and focuses on the R&D and production of new MLED display panels. Its products cover the three major segments of modules, boxes and terminals. Hi-tech Huaye was established in 2013 and is mainly engaged in LED packaging, display screens, injection molding accessories and lighting. The company will build a COB product pilot line in 2022.
