In the first quarter, the cumulative export volume of national lighting fixtures increased by 29.40% year-on-year
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to March 2015, the national lighting industry completed a cumulative export volume of US$7.333 billion, a year-on-year increase of 29.40%. Among them, the cumulative export value of lamps and lighting devices was US$6.645 billion (accounting for 90.62%), a year-on-year increase of 29.7%; the cumulative export value of lamps and lighting device parts was US$615 million (accounting for 8.39%), a year-on-year increase of 27.49%; the cumulative export value of luminous signs, nameplates and similar products was US$73 million (accounting for 0.99%), a year-on-year increase of 18.63%.
In the first quarter, the cumulative import volume of the national lighting industry increased by 6.71% year-on-year
In the first quarter of 2015, the national lighting industry completed a cumulative import volume of US$116 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.71%. The regions that accounted for a large proportion of the cumulative import volume mainly include Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Beijing, Shandong, etc. Among them: Shanghai's cumulative import volume was US$33 million (accounting for 28.89%), a year-on-year increase of 5.38%; Guangdong's cumulative import volume was US$29 million (accounting for 24.93%), a year-on-year increase of 5.5%.
Looking at the distribution of sub-sectors, the cumulative import volume of electric light sources (bulbs) was US$235 million (accounting for 63.82%), a year-on-year increase of 1.49%; the cumulative import volume of lighting fixtures was US$116 million (accounting for 31.38%), a year-on-year increase of 6.7 1%; the cumulative import value of ballasts for discharge lamps or discharge tubes was US$12 million (accounting for 3.18%), a year-on-year decrease of 37.06%; the cumulative import value of self-powered lighting fixtures and parts was US$06 million (accounting for 1.62%), a year-on-year decrease of 28.52%.
The cumulative output of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) nationwide from January to April increased by 36.41% year-on-year
From January to April 2015, the national light-emitting diode (LED) industry completed a cumulative output of 107.069 billion units, a year-on-year increase of 36.41%, with the proportion mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang and other regions. Among them: Guangdong’s cumulative output is 71.653 billion (accounting for 66.92%), a year-on-year increase of 64.76%.
The cumulative losses of the national lighting industry from January to April increased by 19.14% year-on-year
From January to April 2015, the national lighting industry completed a cumulative loss of 926 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.14%, with the proportion mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Fujian and other regions. Among them: Guangdong Province completed a cumulative loss of 277 million yuan (accounting for 29.95%), a year-on-year increase of 45.72%.
In addition, look at the proportion of sub-categories in the industry. Among them, the cumulative loss in the manufacturing of lighting fixtures was 615 million yuan (accounting for 66.42%), a year-on-year increase of 11.84%; the cumulative loss in the manufacturing of electric light sources was 214 million yuan (accounting for 23.07%), a year-on-year increase of 31.44%; the cumulative loss in the manufacturing of lamp electrical accessories and other lighting equipment was 97 million yuan (accounting for 10.51%), a year-on-year increase of 50.19%.
National cumulative production of incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps from January to May was announced
From January to May 2015, the national incandescent light bulb industry completed a cumulative production of 1.702 billion units, a year-on-year decrease of 0.39%. The proportion is mainly concentrated in Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Hebei, Zhejiang and other regions. Among them: Jiangsu’s cumulative output was 685 million (accounting for 40.24%), a year-on-year decrease of 6.15%.
From January to May 2015, the national fluorescent lamp industry completed a cumulative output of 1.575 billion units, a year-on-year decrease of 4.93%. From the perspective of regional distribution, the proportion is mainly concentrated in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi and other regions. Among them: Jiangsu’s cumulative output was 446 million (accounting for 28.32%), a year-on-year increase of 18.06%; Zhejiang’s cumulative output was 331 million (accounting for 21%), a year-on-year decrease of 14.25%.
