Huike Changsha MiniLED project is under negotiation, with an estimated investment of 7 billion yuan

"Wei Liuyang" news shows that from December 12 to 13, Xiao Zhengbo, member of the Standing Committee of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Liuyang Municipal Party Committee, and Chief of the Changsha New Display Industry Chain, once again led a team to Shenzhen to visit key enterprises such as Huike Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huike") to promote the accelerated implementation of major projects.

It is reported that the Huike Mini LED backlight/direct display module and complete machine project negotiated this time has a total investment of approximately 7 billion yuan, a land area of approximately 116 acres, and an annual output value of approximately 7 billion yuan. The products mainly include backlight modules for display products such as Mini LED LCD TVs, boxes for Mini LED direct display, and Mini LED all-in-one machines.

According to data, Huike was established in December 2001. It is a technology company focusing on the field of semiconductor display. Its main business is the research and development and manufacturing of core display devices such as semiconductor display panels and smart display terminals. Huike's existing technologies include amorphous silicon a-Si TFT-LCD technology, Oxide TFT, Oxide RGB OLED, Oxide LCD, and Mini LED.

In 2024, Huike made significant progress on multiple projects.

In October, Huike launched a Mini LED project in Mianyang, Sichuan. The project has a total investment of 7 billion yuan and its main production includes high-end Mini LED directDisplay modules, high-end Mini LED backlight modules, etc.

In May, the Changsha Huike Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Complex project is nearing completion, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan. It is expected to attract more than 50 electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, new materials and other related industry chain companies to settle in.

In January, Yichang Huike Industrial Chain Docking Conference and Yifeng Optoelectronics MLED COB product lighting ceremony. After the production line reaches capacity, it is expected to become one of the top three electronic price tag production bases in China and the largest display equipment manufacturing base in the country.

In terms of products, Huike has made significant progress in the fields of Mini LED and Micro LED. On November 27 this year, the company launched a Mini LED display with an ultra-high contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1; on December 9, Huike announced that it had successfully lit up the industry's first 6.67-inch Micro LED direct display screen based on a glass-based HMO backplane.

In terms of capital markets, Huike previously submitted a listing application to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in June 2022, but later withdrew the application documents in August 2023. On February 28, 2024, Huike restarted the IPO process, signed a listing counseling agreement with CICC, and carried out filing counseling registration with the Shenzhen Securities Regulatory Bureau.
