In the highlight area, based on the maximum PWM drive pulse width, the drive current of the corresponding LED is further increased through PAM. While maintaining stable power consumption of the entire screen, higher peak brightness output is achieved, making the picture more eye-catching and dazzling.
Based on the minimum PWM drive pulse width, PAM is used to reduce the drive current of the corresponding LED.
Real-time independent 8-bit precise current adjustment for each LED chip, truly achieving 21-bit ultra-high gray scale (theoretically up to 24-bit or more), brightness control accuracy as high as 0.001nit, and clearly expressing every detail in the dark.
PAM expands the driving pulse width of PWM, providing ample time for screen refresh. The 1-level gray scale refresh is up to 360Hz, and the high-level gray scale exceeds 15000Hz. The picture is silky smooth and stroboscopic is completely eliminated.
Using the PAM hybrid driver to improve energy efficiency, combined with the energy-saving design of the driver chip, can effectively reduce screen power consumption. Actual measurement data shows that power consumption can be further reduced by 20%, and the energy saving effect is significant.
