Jinko Electronics AC COB white light module light source leads the era of high luminous flux density

After several years of development, COB light source technology is about to enter a new stage of development this year. Companies are turning to compete for the best overall cost performance with high quality, high light efficiency, and high stability. Cost reduction and efficiency improvement gave rise to AC COB

AC COB removes the traditional AC-DC switching power supply and does not have traditional components such as electrolytic capacitors and transformers. Therefore, the light source is highly efficient and can solve the shortcoming of insufficient power supply life, extend the service life of the light source, and reduce product costs as a whole.

"Since the development of the LED lighting industry, the two driving forces of cost reduction and efficiency improvement will make the value chain of the entire industry more reflected. A number of packaging companies such as Jinko Electronics, Hongli Optoelectronics, Sony Lighting, Meiya Optoelectronics, Zhonghao Optoelectronics, Crescent Optoelectronics, Tongfang Optoelectronics, Seoul Semiconductor, and Lextar Electronics began to accelerate their product layout in the AC COB field last year.

In line with the current situation, Jinko Electronics launched a new AC COB white light module light source at the beginning of this year. It has optimized the wire bonding mode and parameters, and the mass-produced COB light source is controlled according to the shipping standard of 500 rounds of hot and cold shock. It integrates thyristor dimming components, IC components, temperature control protection and other components on the traditional COB light source substrate. It can realize direct input of 220V mains power by connecting an external rectifier circuit and supports 180-260V wide voltage amplitude modulation. In addition, the module’s light source uses a ceramic substrate, which has good heat dissipation performance and high voltage resistance, and can pass strict European high voltage tests.

Flip-chip technology and strong R&D lead the trend of high luminous density

As the most mature flip-chip soldering gold wire-free packaging technology and white light chip-scale packaging LED in China, Jinko Electronics, its new AC COB white light module light source will usher the lighting industry into the era of high luminous flux density.
