Nichia sues US LCD TV brand Vizio for copyright infringement

Why did Nichia sue Vizio? This famous American LCD TV brand was founded by Taiwanese Wang Wei 14 years ago. He is the largest shareholder, holding more than half of the shares. The second largest legal person shareholder is Ruixuan (23%), and the third largest legal person shareholder is Hon Hai (8%). According to information from US legal media, Vizio's LCD TV products use LED backlight modules from Taiwanese manufacturers. The LED chip products used in them were deemed by Nichia to be infringing products, so they sued the LCD TV manufacturer.

As for whether LCD TV manufacturers will continue to use LED chip module products from Taiwanese manufacturers in these products, the legal defense of subsequent lawsuits can be closely observed.
