The so-called "many" means that on the one hand, the overall scale of LED display screens at this exhibition is larger, and there are also more high-end products. Taking small-pitch LED screens as an example, the number of exhibitors and brands has increased by 70 to 80% compared with last year. This is mainly due to the advancement of small-pitch LED screen manufacturing technology, the accelerated pace of localization of lamp beads, and the rapid growth of the small-pitch LED screen industry itself. In fact, according to the consumption of semiconductor substrates, small-pitch LED screens are the highest growth point and the largest potential stock in the entire LED industry.

Another aspect of "many" means that there are many product ideas. Including "transparent screen, soft screen, characteristic creative screen, curved screen, invisible screen, LED advertising machine, naked eye 3D", LED display has all the concepts that the modern display market should have. In a sense, LED display has become an "all-rounder". Some companies pointed out that if cost issues are not considered, LED displays can do almost everything that flat panel displays, projection displays, rear projection displays and other technologies can do; at the same time, LED screens can also produce curtain effect screens, lighting and display common equipment systems and other products that are not available in other display technology categories. Therefore, many varieties and innovations are a major industry feature of LED screens.

At the Shanghai LED Exhibition, the "fast" in the LED display industry mainly refers to a series of "fast" technologies developed by manufacturers: for example, in terms of deployment, lightweight products no longer require the previous installation methods that were very clumsy and even changed the load-bearing level of the building. Intelligent product adjustment technology, intelligent module boxes, intelligent detection, intelligent correction, etc., greatly shorten the product installation and deployment cycle.

For another example, during the product application process, LED manufacturers also emphasize speed. Pre-maintenance system products have become standard equipment for some projects. Such technology is of great significance for "dispatch and command" applications, 24-hour continuous applications, and outdoor large screens in bustling areas. Compared with the traditional maintenance mode, the front-end maintenance system can almost reduce the fault maintenance time by half. At the same time, the intelligent technology in system operation, intelligent brightness and consistency adjustment, reduce the workload of regular product maintenance and improve the picture uniformity of long-term operation of the product, which can be said to serve multiple purposes.

Regarding the Shanghai LED Exhibition, the author’s definition of “good” in the LED display industry is: some products last year are better this year, and products that were not available last year are here this year.

First of all, from the perspective of the spacing of the core technical indicators of LED screens, "all the way down" has become a trend. Not only is the focus of indoor small-pitch LED screens transitioning from P1.5 to P1.2, the product application resolution has increased by 56%; outdoor screen products are also emphasizing the concept of reduced spacing. P6 screens have become the trend for outdoor large screens to replace P10 screens, and P3 screens have also followed suit, becoming the application direction for outdoor small and medium-sized screens and high-definition screens.

    Second, a good definition can also be reflected in the total cost of the project. The maturity of LED screen products and technologies will inevitably lead to lower prices. In particular, the relative overcapacity of the led upstream industry in recent years has prompted the average price of LED lamp bead products to decline on the basis of quality improvement. Higher quality and lower cost, isn't this the definition of the best image of a “good” product?

   

    Third, this year's led exhibition, some products are the first large-scale appearance. For example, a small pitch product that is highly redeployable. These products have a reinforced structure, lightweight design, pre-maintenance and modular structure to meet the needs of the high-end rental market, especially the conference rental industry. Interactive products, for example, are increasingly combining interaction and display in high-density display markets, digital signage, and commercial advertising. In this regard, led screens have not fallen behind, and more related products have been introduced to the market at this exhibition.

   

Fourth, another better aspect of the LED screen market is reflected in 4K products. In essence, the LED screen system is a splicing screen, and neither signal processing nor front-end display is sensitive to resolution: even an ancient screen, with the cooperation of a screen splitter, is sufficient to handle today's 4K video. However, the emergence of LED screen 4K signal systems, 4K unit systems, etc. can effectively reduce the structural complexity of the entire large screen project when processing high-resolution signals, and provide a more economical and energy-saving system solution.

As for the "saving" trend shown by LED display products at this year's LED exhibition, readers will know that "cost reduction" is an important meaning without explanation. However, the author's "saving" includes multiple meanings: ultra-thin cabinets save space, lightweight cabinets save structural weight and cost, intelligent products save deployment and maintenance costs, modular systems save fault detection time and reduce the probability of large component replacements, large-size modular cabinets save more deployment costs, etc. It can be said that LED screen companies have solutions for "saving" customers.

With the four words "More Fast, Better Saving" as its main characteristics, the Shanghai LED Exhibition is worthy of being one of the most powerful LED display system feasts in the world.
