Sales of LED optical components in Guangdong exceed 600 million, and the scale of the LED industry is expected to exceed 500 billion

The annual output value of the LED industry in Guangdong Province is expected to reach 500 billion yuan this year. This is the latest information from the "First Summit Forum on Promoting the Internationalization of LED Lighting Component Products" held in Guangzhou a few days ago.

It is understood that so far, Guangdong has released a total of 33 detailed specifications of standard optical components, obtained 31 patent authorizations, and "Mabiao" labeled products have achieved sales of more than 600 million yuan. The relevant person in charge of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology stated that in the future, it is necessary to further increase the technological research and development of standard optical components and establish a spectrum of LED optical components; accelerate the construction of an LED standard optical component laboratory platform and build a scientific, systematic and open level 3 laboratory system for LED lighting standard optical components. Through multi-party cooperation, we will promote the technical specifications of LED optical components to become national-level and global industry standards.
