Samsung unveiled the display at the "Light Up Seoul 2024" event, hoping to turn Myeongdong Plaza into a new landmark in South Korea, showcasing eye-catching media lighting effects and lighting up Seoul's iconic shopping district. IT House has attached the relevant video as follows:
This LED display uses 8K panoramic display technology, with an exterior wall area of 1,285 square meters, which is equivalent to the size of three basketball courts.
The display is IP66 dustproof and waterproof to ensure long-lasting durability in harsh weather; it has a maximum brightness of 8,000 nits and supports HDR10+ technology to provide clear visuals.
The newly installed displays will not only display engaging advertising and dynamic video content, but will also transform into a stunning media wall during the Christmas season every year, creating a festive atmosphere for visitors.
