Small cigarette butts caused fire and warehouse lamps were burned down

According to reports, around 17:00 on the 14th, a fire broke out in a bungalow in Guangminggang New Village, Guangming Road, Taijiang District. A lamp placed in a bungalow by a lighting store was partially damaged. On that day, a 9-year-old girl disappeared in the community, and her family once suspected that she was trapped in the fire.

The fire occurred in the bungalow between Buildings 6 and 7 of Guangminggang New Village. When the reporter arrived, the open fire had been extinguished. Reporters saw at the scene that the bungalow was divided into two parts. Part of it was a warehouse for a lighting store. After the fire, a friend of the lighting store owner "saved" some of the lamps.

According to reports, the other part of the bungalow is mainly used to store items such as cardboard boxes and wooden boards. After the fire, these flammable items were basically burned. Residents of the community said that there was a bathroom in the bungalow. Someone might have dropped a cigarette butt while going to the bathroom, which ignited the flammable materials in the bungalow.

Although no one was injured in the fire, a family suffered a false alarm. It turned out that when the fire broke out, a 9-year-old girl happened to be missing in the community. According to the child's parents, the child was taken back to the community after school around 16:00, and then the little girl played with the children in the community. Worryingly, the little girl was missing when the fire broke out. The parents were once worried that the little girl would be trapped in the fire when she ran into the bungalow to play. Fortunately, firefighters confirmed that no one was trapped in the burning bungalow.

However, when the reporter left the community at 18:00 yesterday, there was still no news about the missing 9-year-old girl, and the child's family members were still looking around the community.
