Stan Technology exhibits 0.18-inch single-screen full-color Micro LED screen

Recently, the completion ceremony and Micro LED small seminar of Xiamen Stan Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Stein Semiconductor") was held at Xiamen Torch Xinke Plaza. At this completion ceremony, Stan Technology signed strategic cooperation agreements with four well-known companies: Wingtech Technology, Longli Technology, Sunny Optical, and Nader Optical.

According to reports, Stan Semiconductor was established on June 22, 2022. It is the chip design base for the first phase of Micro LED mass production line invested by Stan Technology in Xiamen. It focuses on the design of third-generation semiconductor optoelectronic chips and the design and tape-out of silicon-based CMOS driver chips. It will truly realize a complete closed loop of Micro LED from design to tape-out, and from pilot testing to mass production.

At the completion ceremony, Stan Technology displayed its research and development results in recent years, including more than ten exhibits including green, blue, and red single-color Micro LED display modules with screen sizes of 0.13-0.7 inches and up to 10,000 PPI, single green Micro LED AR glasses, and Micro LED vehicle HUD.

At the same time, Stan Technology also exhibited its first 0.18-inch Micro LED single-screen full-color display module and Micro LED single-screen full-color AR glasses solution equipped with this specification module.

According to reports, compared with existing prototype products on the market, this AR glasses solution can increase the field of view by nearly 40% with the same optical engine. At the same time, the screen brightness reaches more than 10,000 nits, which is also the highest brightness level that can be achieved among single-screen full-color products on the market.

According to data, Stan Technology is a Micro LED semiconductor display start-up. It has a dedicated Micro LED pilot line and has carried out technology research and development in key areas such as Micro LED device array production, mass transfer technology, colorization, and drive circuits.

Since this year, Stan Technology has attracted investments from many industrial investment funds such as SMIC Juyuan, Xiaomi Industrial Investment, Sunny Industrial Investment, and China Resources Micro, as well as investments from Sequoia China, CICC Capital, Xiamen Venture Capital, Septwolves Venture Capital, and Qicheng.

Recently, Stan Technology has officially announced that it has invited Mr. Pei Xiaoming, a senior industry expert, to join as the chief scientist of Stan Technology's Micro LED Research Institute. It is reported that Pei Xiaoming has served as CTO of Ruifeng Optoelectronics, Vice President of Dehao Runda, and CTO of Hongli Optoelectronics, and has more than 35 years of experience in the LED industry.

Stan Technology stated that in the past, the company has fully completed the technical route in the pilot line and achieved small batch shipments to downstream customers. With the implementation of Xiamen's monochrome and full-color mass production lines, Stain Technology will further improve Micro LED mass production capacity, yield, and reliability.
