Stop falling! Lighting exports increased by 20% month-on-month in November due to...

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, my country’s total import and export value of goods trade in November was US$549 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%; exports were US$330.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.9%. Among them, the export value of lighting products in November was approximately US$3.9 billion, down 18% year-on-year; it increased 20% month-on-month, ending the downward trend since July this year. From January to November this year, my country's lighting product exports totaled approximately US$45.2 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.2%; accounting for 2.2% of the export volume of mechanical and electrical products, which was basically the same as in the previous 10 months.
1. Export situation of main products From January to November, the total export volume of electric light source products was approximately US$5 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 11%. my country's export volume of electric light source products is approximately 22.8 billion units, a year-on-year increase of 13%. The export volume of LED electric light source products was approximately 14.8 billion units, a year-on-year increase of approximately 37%. The export volume of LED module products is approximately 8.9 billion units, a year-on-year increase of approximately 82% %. Pakistan, Algeria, Vietnam and other countries and regions are the top ten export markets for this product, with exports of approximately 6.9 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 121%. The cumulative export volume of lighting products in the first 11 months was approximately US$33.6 billion, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 12%, an increase of 1 percentage point from the previous 10 months; it accounted for approximately 74% of the total export share, a 1 percentage point decrease from the previous 10 months. A small number of lighting products such as Christmas lamps, photovoltaic lamps and lighting devices designed to use only light-emitting diode (LED) light sources have achieved double growth in export volume. The export volume increased by approximately 1% and 7% year-on-year respectively, and the export volume increased by 10% and 28% respectively. In addition, the export volume of fixed lamps, movable lamps and other products continues to decline. The export volume of home LED lamps such as bedside lamps and floor lamps increased by 3%. 2. Changes in major export destinations

Since this year, my country's lighting industry has been deeply involved in the global trade pattern. Against the background of degree adjustment, the company has actively implemented a market diversification strategy and expanded into emerging markets such as Africa, which has alleviated its dependence on traditional export markets and trade risks to a certain extent. However, affected by factors such as the ups and downs of the international trade situation, increased tariff barriers, and the restructuring of the global supply chain, the industry's overall exports are under pressure, and the development momentum of some markets has slowed down. 1. Exports to Africa show a growing trend In the first 11 months, exports of lighting products to Africa were approximately US$3.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%, maintaining the growth trend since May this year; accounting for approximately 7% of my country's total lighting product exports, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%. increased by 1 percentage point. Among them, the export value of electric light source products was approximately US$300 million, a year-on-year increase of 3%; the export value of lighting products was approximately US$2.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3%; the export value of non-main products such as car lights was approximately US$600 million, a year-on-year increase of 16%. 2. Exports to the EU were basically the same as the same period last year From January to November, my country's exports of lighting products to the EU were generally stable, with an export value of approximately US$9.1 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.8%; accounting for approximately 20% of my country's total lighting product exports, an increase of 2 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, the export value of non-major products such as car lights increased by 23% year-on-year, to approximately US$1 billion; however, the export value of lighting products decreased by approximately 3% year-on-year, to approximately US$7.2 billion; the export value of electric light source products A year-on-year decrease of 6% to approximately US$800 million. Among them, exports to Germany were approximately US$2.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.2%. In addition, exports to EU markets such as Spain, Belgium, Sweden, and Denmark increased by 0.2% to 17% year-on-year; exports to EU markets such as the Netherlands, France, and Italy decreased by 0.5% to 20% year-on-year.
3. Exports to the United States increased slightly by 2% from October. In November, exports to the United States were approximately US$700 million, a year-on-year decrease of 37% and an increase of 2% from October. The three products that contributed the most to the month-on-month growth in exports to the United States in November were "chandeliers and other electrical lighting devices on the ceiling or walls designed to use only light-emitting diode (LED) light sources", "electrical lighting devices for motor vehicles" and "other chandeliers and electrical lighting devices on the ceiling or walls", which drove growth rates of 2.2%, 1.4% and 0.9% respectively.
In the first 11 months, my country's lighting product exports to the United States were approximately US$9 billion, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 22%; exports to the United States accounted for approximately 20% of my country's total exports, a decrease of 3 percentage points from the same period last year. In terms of products, lamps exported to the United States were down. Product exports declined the most, with exports of approximately US$6.5 billion, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 24%. Exports of electric light source products were approximately US$1 billion, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 21%. Non-main lighting product exports were approximately US$1.4 billion, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 12%.
4. Exports to ASEAN further slowed down

From January to November, the export value of lighting products to ASEAN was approximately US$7.1 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 8.5%; the decline was 3 percentage points larger than that of the previous 10 months; the export value to ASEAN accounted for approximately 16% of my country's total lighting product exports, which is the same as the previous year. The same period last year was basically the same. Among them, the export value of electric light source products was approximately US$800 million, a year-on-year decrease of 4%; the export value of lighting products was approximately US$5.5 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6%; the export value of non-main products such as car lights was approximately US$800 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7%.
