TV shipments hit a ten-year low, but conference TVs are popular: growth rate exceeds 600%

Kuai Technology reported on October 14 that in recent years, Chinese companies have generally been conservative in their business strategies and their purchasing behavior has been relatively restrained. More and more enterprises are choosing to use conference TVs with lower prices and reduced performance as conference equipment.

RUNTO believes that conference TV is becoming an important new category in the smart conference ecosystem, and 2024 will be the first year of development of China’s conference TV market.

Data show that in 2024, the market size of display products in mainland China’s conference scenes will reach 13 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.5% in 2023.

Currently, there are three main technical routes for mainstream conference display products: projection display, liquid crystal display, and LED display.

In terms of complete machine categories, there are three main categories: interactive tablets, business projections and conference TVs. Among them, conference interactive tablets are experiencing direct competition from pan-conference TVs and even ordinary TVs.

Research results show that as of 2024, in the complete machine market including business projection in conference scenarios, the shipment share of pan-conference TV has exceeded 1/3.

On the retail side, under the conference TV category on the JD.com platform, the cumulative sales volume as of September this year has exceeded 28,000 units, achieving a year-on-year growth rate of more than 600%.
