Soso LED Network News: In order to actively respond to Shanghai’s call to accelerate the construction of a global science and technology innovation center, a smart LED light pole that integrates smart LED lighting, security monitoring, environmental monitoring, car charging and other functions was unveiled on Dagu Road, Jing’an District, Shanghai, becoming the first comprehensive utilization project of road LED lighting poles completed in the country.
The reporter saw at the project site that 15 smart light poles with a height of about 8 meters were arranged on the north side of Dagu Road. The silver-gray design was quite modern. The top of the light pole is an LED street light, which is equipped with monitoring probes, public broadcasting, environmental monitoring, rescue telephones, WIFI hotspots and other facilities downwards. A touch screen and charging pile are also installed on the base. At this time, a new energy car was connected to the light pole for charging. The equipment provider told reporters that the voltage of the charging pile is 220 volts and the power is 7,000 watts. It only takes 2 to 3 hours to fully charge a hybrid car with a battery capacity of 10 kilowatt hours. Car owners can reserve light poles for charging through the smartphone APP. This is a major innovation in the convenient application of smart LED light poles.
It is reported that the Shanghai Dagu Road Road LED Lighting Pole Comprehensive Utilization Pilot Project, as a sub-topic of Shanghai's road lighting planning, was developed and constructed by the 50th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group and Shanghai Qindian under the guidance of the Shanghai Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Management Committee, Shanghai Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission, Shanghai Finance Bureau, Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau, Shanghai Public Security Bureau, Shanghai Electric Power Company and other units.
As a comprehensive utilization device, smart LED light poles not only help reduce the duplication of urban pole construction, avoid the chaos of poles on both sides of urban roads, especially at intersections, and effectively save urban ground and space resources, but will also effectively promote technological innovation and management innovation in the field of road lighting management and urban comprehensive management in Shanghai, improve road lighting services and management levels, and are an important part of Shanghai's strategy to build a global science and technology innovation center.
In the future, smart LED light poles can be further loaded with modules such as RFID electronic tags, parking meters, traffic lights, road signs, parking fee signs, and network private car information screens based on on-site needs, making them highly scalable. The reporter learned that the current basic cost of the smart light pole is about 20,000 yuan per pole, and the cost after loading various equipment is nearly 40,000 yuan. After inspecting the pilot project, Shanghai Vice Mayor Jiang Zhuoqing asked relevant units to further promote research and reduce costs. Based on an in-depth summary of the Dagu Road pilot experience, the scope of the pilot will continue to be expanded next year, and technical specifications and management mechanisms will be explored and clarified to provide decision-making basis for future promotion in the city.
