Three standards for semiconductor lighting have been formulated to benefit from LED lighting application concepts

The three national standards discussed this time are "LED Lighting Application Interface Requirements: Street Lamps with Separate Control Devices and Own Heat Dissipation LED Modules", "LED Lighting Product Acceleration Test Method (2000 hours)", and "LED Public Lighting Intelligent System Interface Application Layer Communication Protocol".

Li Jinmin, director of the National Key Laboratory of Semiconductor Lighting Joint Innovation, said that the support of the standard system is very important for the healthy development of the semiconductor lighting industry. He hopes that more relevant units will participate in the preparation of standards and jointly formulate national standards that are technologically forward-looking, scalable and industry-promotable.

Industry insiders believe that 2014-2016 is the golden development period for global LED lighting, with the penetration rate increasing from 20% to about 45%. It is a rare industry with rapid growth and relatively high certainty. LED lamp sales reached 770 million in 2013, 2.2 billion in 2015, and 3 billion in 2016. Among them, the compound growth rate from 2013 to 2016 was as high as 56%.

Among domestic A-share listed companies, the concept stocks involved in LED lighting applications include Sunshine Lighting (600261.SH), Jiawei Shares (300317.SZ), Lianchuang Optoelectronics (600363.SH), Unilumin Technology (300232.SZ), Wanrun Technology (002654.SZ), Foshan Lighting (000541.SZ), Qinshang Optoelectronics (002638.SZ), etc. Among them, Sunshine Lighting is the leader in LED lighting. The company's main business has gradually transformed from energy-saving lamp business to LED business. With the release of LED production capacity in Xiamen and Shangyu, the company's growth is clear; at the same time, as the proportion of self-owned brands increases in the future, the valuation is expected to increase.
