Tianma releases new technologies for CMS electronic rearview mirror and OLED curved cockpit

On April 24, Tianma Microelectronics held a media launch event for "Good Cars Come with Good Screens" at the Shanghai Auto Show. At the press conference, Tianma launched two innovative technologies: CMS electronic rearview mirror system and OLED Xuanyuan curved cockpit.

Among them, the CMS electronic rearview mirror system is based on a dual FPGA and dual ISP hardware solution, a high-speed parallel image processing architecture, and achieves an ultra-low system latency of 30ms. It also uses a large FOV high-speed high-definition camera component and HDR120dB image sensing to optimize and expand the field of view by 30%. It can also be clearly seen in bad weather environments such as dark night rain and fog, effectively improving driving safety.

The screen adopts an 8.1-inch special-shaped display, equipped with Local dimming technology, ALS (Ambient Light Sensor) screen integration technology, SLT (Super low temperature) in-box heating technology, and built-in brightness and temperature control algorithm. It has the characteristics of high brightness and high contrast, adaptive adjustment of ambient light, and low temperature fast response.

The OLED Xuanyuan curved cockpit is a dual 13-inch multi-curvature integrated black OLED display screen launched by Tianma and Corning. It adopts a multi-curvature design with variable curvature R800-2000mm to meet the streamlined styling requirements of the cockpit interior. It can achieve ultra-low reflectivity R

At the same time, this display uses Tianma's SLOD technology (StackedLayer OLED Device) and TPOT (Touch Panel on Thin Film Encapsulation) technology, which has high contrast, high brightness, narrow borders, low power consumption and other display characteristics, making the screen thinner, lighter and longer lifespan.

It is reported that Tianma is currently guided by the "2+1+N" strategy and regards vehicle display as its core business as much as mobile phone display.
