Aledia is a French company that recently announced news of production expansion. The expanded factory is mainly used to produce 8-inch LED wafers. Its investment partners include Intel Capital, Supernova and CEA Leti. FlexiNOVA and Native exhibited at Touch Taiwan 2025 are used for high-resolution displays and AR applications respectively. Potential applications include large public displays, high-end TVs, smart watches, automotive instrument panels, and head-up displays.
FlexiNOVA not only has the smallest 3.5x3.5 μm Nanowire LED, but also increases the external quantum efficiency (EQE) of the blue light chip from 32% to nearly 40%, and reaches 99% DCI-P3 wide color gamut display, with excellent wavelength uniformity of ±1-2 nm (industry average: ±2.5-3 nm).
In addition, energy consumption can be effectively reduced through its high-voltage chip capability. In response to the market requirements of different applications, Aledia can also provide Micro LED chips of different sizes by combining multiple Nanowire LEDs, ranging in size from 3.5x3.5 μm to 15x30 μm. Using Nanowire LED blue light chips with quantum dot color conversion technology can achieve full-color display.
Aledia is also focusing on augmented reality market applications. Its native LED can provide Nanowire LED R/G/B chips on a single panel, which is different from the current market's use of three-color and light methods to effectively reduce size and power consumption. WG-TECH WG-TECH
Wogel Optoelectronics has launched its exclusive glass substrate technology, which features high brightness, high contrast, high flatness and excellent heat dissipation performance. It is specially designed to create Zero Optical Distance ultra-thin Mini LED backlight modules for high-end display devices, successfully solving the halo problem. The 27-inch ultra-thin Mini LED display uses a 0.55 mm thick glass substrate, has a high division number of 1,152, and uses 10,368 Mini LEDs to achieve precise light control capabilities.
Hisense’s recently released Hisense Monkey King G9 monitor adopts Hisense’s exclusive obsidian screen technology, and uses Mini LED COG with Vogel glass substrate technology. It uses the high-precision glass substrate’s extremely small line width and line spacing as its core advantage to achieve 2,304 independent light control zones, significantly improving the display performance compared to similar products. In response to wide color gamut (Wide Color Gamut) display requirements, Vogel Optoelectronics has further launched Magenta QD technology, which is comparable to the wide color gamut performance of OLED. Using KSF red phosphor and green film material of quantum dot technology, it can achieve excellent display performance of nearly 90% of high brightness and high color gamut BT.2020, and significantly reduce energy consumption by 10-20%.
In response to the development of the Micro LED self-luminous display market, Wogo Optoelectronics' products have been successfully mass-produced in Ledman's 220-inch 4K P1.25 Mini LED display and Korean manufacturer's Mini LED display. At the same time, in response to the micro display LED package - MiP (Micro LED in Package), Vogel Optoelectronics launched the 0203 / 0404 MiP glass carrier. The 0203 MiP more truly realizes the concept of Micro LED in Package, using 02x02 mil (50x50 μm) Micro LED chip.

Innolux Group Innovation
Innolux showcases more Mini LED and Micro LED for broader scene imagination and deeper application levels. The 204-inch 8K AM-Micro LED display uses 256 9.5-inch LTPS splicing and combines it with AI technology to expand the possibility of more field applications. In the future, it plans to integrate sensors or edge operating components with the panel to achieve higher-end smart displays. The product uses LTPS backplane and side plated wires (Side Wiring) Technology, Micro LED uses blue light chips and QD color conversion.
In the wedding application imagination, Innolux cooperated with Boutique to splice 8 12.7-inch Micro LED panels and then coated them with a special film. Taking advantage of the high brightness characteristics of Micro LED (700 nits), you can enjoy a high-quality image experience while looking at the picture in the mirror.
The 17.3-inch and 23.8-inch Mini LED marine displays use high-efficiency Mini LED combined with Innolux's advantages in the field of industrial control to achieve high-quality display effects in high-light and high-temperature environments. PlayNitride
As a leader in Micro LED, PlayNitride has continued to launch higher specifications of Micro LED and its application in the AR display field this year: PlayNitride launched a 0.18-inch Micro LED display and won the 2025 Gold Panel Awards for this innovative product.
Compared with the previous generation, the size is reduced by 40%, the brightness can reach up to 500,000 nits (B μLED + QD), and the color gamut covers more than 90% (DCI-P3), showing extremely excellent display performance. The resolution of 720x720 and the pixel density of up to 5,644 ppi have reached the overall commercial level. In the future, Nitron also plans to apply this product to AR glasses to meet the demand for thinness, lightness and high performance.
