Tourism has become a strong engine of economic growth, and large-screen companies can make fortunes

Recently, the relevant person in charge of the National Tourism Administration stated that the tourism industry is becoming a "powerful engine" to drive economic growth, drive transformation and upgrading, and achieve entrepreneurship and innovation. With the promulgation of important documents such as the "Several Opinions of the State Council on Promoting the Reform and Development of the Tourism Industry", and especially the inclusion of the "13th Five-Year Plan" national tourism development plan into the national "13th Five-Year Plan" key special plans, my country's tourism industry is ushering in an unprecedented period of development.
The survey shows that the overall willingness of residents to travel in the third quarter of this year was 83.02%, an increase from the second quarter. Driven by factors such as the summer vacation, the National Day holiday, and the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the domestic tourism market is expected to maintain steady growth in the second half of the year. It is predicted that the number of domestic tourists will reach 4.4 billion this year, an increase of approximately 10%; the number of inbound and outbound tourists will increase by approximately 4%, and international tourism revenue will increase by approximately 5%.
The increasing popularity of tourism has led to the construction boom of a large number of domestic tourist attractions and theme parks, and has also created new business opportunities for the large-screen display industry. In an environment of increasingly fierce competition in the tourism industry, attractions and parks have focused on creating differentiated and characteristic tourism projects. Therefore, large-scale live performances have become popular projects in many scenic spots. In such projects, the stage setting is often dominated by projectors. In recent years, there have been more and more application cases for LED displays.
Also in order to create characteristic tourism projects, many scenic spots increasingly favor the use of dynamic display methods such as video and animation in displaying local characteristic culture, which provides fertile ground for the use of large-screen display equipment. For example, large LED screens and LCD screens installed at the entrances of some scenic spots broadcast local tourism and cultural promotional videos on a rolling basis; while displaying some special objects, projections are used to create simulated scenes, and LCD screens are used to provide relevant information.
In addition, with the emergence of some advanced technologies in recent years, special tourism experience projects represented by virtual reality (VR) have received increasing attention. On the other hand, large-screen companies, represented by small-pitch LED screen manufacturers, have accelerated the application of combining large screens with VR, and experience projects such as VR movies and VR games have emerged one after another.
In terms of scenic area operation, large-screen display systems also have a place to play. For example, in terms of security in scenic spots, the monitoring and command center needs to use large screens as display terminals for key information such as monitoring images and road maps to prevent park security problems before they occur. This will also provide more application opportunities for DLP splicing, LCD splicing, and small-pitch LED screens.
Finally, in order to provide a better visiting experience, parks usually need to provide tourists with information release services such as route guidance, notices, and emergency releases. In this field, digital signage display systems based on LCD and LED screens, including displays with touch functions, have broad application prospects. Not only that, this type of display can also be used as a carrier for park advertising and investment, creating more sources of revenue, so it is increasingly favored by operators of tourist attractions and theme parks.
