Vuzix announces 2023 Q2 results: revenue reaches $4.7 million

Vuzix, a Nasdaq AR listed company, recently announced its second quarter results for the period ended June 30, 2023.

Financial results show that total revenue increased 56% to $4.7 million in the three months ended June 30, 2023, compared with $3.0 million in the same period in 2022. The increase in total revenue was mainly due to higher product sales, especially the M400 Significant increase in smart glasses sales

Vuzix CEO Paul Travers said: “In the second quarter, we achieved record smart glasses sales, driving total sales up 56% year-over-year and sequentially. 12%, primarily due to sales channel growth through additional sales force resources and increased customer adoption of our products. Smart glasses continued to record quarterly sales and revenue increased 61% year over year in the first half of 2023. We also grew product development, technology advancements and new businesses.Strong progress has also continued to be made in business cooperation. On the OEM side of our business, we continue to see an influx of customer interest, including an increasing number of quote requests related to defense, consumer and enterprise customers, all of whom are interested in our waveguide and display engine solutions. ”
