On August 14, Qichacha APP showed that Guangzhou Huaxing Optoelectronics Printing and Display Technology Co., Ltd. was recently established with a registered capital of 1 billion yuan and is wholly owned by TCL Huaxing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of TCL Technology. The business scope includes: display device manufacturing; display device sales; electronic component manufacturing; electronic component wholesale, etc. Qichacha’s equity penetration shows that the company is wholly owned by TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of TCL Technology.
According to recent news from Korean media THEELEC, Zhou Mingzhong of TCL CSOT Technology Planning Center revealed that TCL CSOT may announce investment news about 8th generation printed OLED this month or next month.
Currently, TCL CSOT has invested in a 5.5-generation printed OLED panel trial production line in Wuhan Optics Valley, which has successfully mass-produced 21.6-inch display products. At the same time, TCL Huaxing has exhibited many printed OLED products at various exhibitions this year, and the display effects are amazing. It shows that printed OLED technology is becoming increasingly mature.
As for the 8th generation printed OLED, there have been related rumors in the market.
Recently, South Korean research institution UBI Research reported that TCL Huaxing plans to announce the construction of an 8.6-generation printed OLED production line in July. The project address is located in Guangzhou T8 plots. However, an insider said that it was slightly delayed compared to expectations.
Now that August is about to pass halfway, with the establishment of Guangzhou Huaxing Optoelectronics Printing and Display Technology Co., Ltd., the official announcement may not be far away.
