It is reported that the project is invested and constructed by Bengbu High-tech Investment Group Co., Ltd. as the main construction entity, with a total investment of approximately 350 million yuan. The project will start construction in July 2022. The settlement of the project will exert a leading effect and accelerate the clustered development of other large-scale enterprises in the new display field and upstream and downstream supporting enterprises.

According to Anhui News, in the future, Bengbu will increase the development priority of the new display industry, optimize the development focus of the new display industry, comprehensively improve the technical research capabilities of key links, give full play to the traction role of panel manufacturing and display terminals, focus on introducing major projects, and create a new display industry cluster with regional influence. It strives to reach 60 billion yuan in scale of the new display industry cluster by 2025, with 50 industrial enterprises above designated size, 25 high-tech enterprises, and 2 listed companies.
