With a total investment of 10 billion yuan, Qingdao Fusion MiniLED backplane project will be put into trial production by the end of the year

According to news on July 24, the ultra-thin electronic glass production and deep processing project located in the West Coast New District of Qingdao is undergoing greening finishing and pipe gallery construction. Indoor power equipment has basically entered the site and begun installation. The general process contractor has entered the site, and the construction founder is verifying the equipment foundation. The project is expected to be put into trial production at the end of this year.

It is reported that the total investment of the ultra-thin electronic glass production and deep processing project is 10 billion yuan, covering an area of 393 acres. It is jointly invested and constructed by Qingdao Fusion Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Fusion New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The main products of the project are MiniLED backplane and display cover protective glass. The project will start construction in July 2022, and the main body of the first phase will be completed in November 2022, with a construction area of 180,000 square meters.

According to data, Qingdao Fusion Intelligence and Qingdao Fusion New Materials are both holding subsidiaries of Qingdao Fusion Industry Development Group.

Among them, Qingdao Fusion New Materials is mainly engaged in glass manufacturing; research and development of electronic special materials; display device manufacturing; display device sales; electronic special material manufacturing; electronic special material sales, etc.

In the field of Mini LED, Qingdao Fusion New Materials has a number of patents, including: Mini LED back panel glass coating platform, tin bath for improving Mini LED back panel glass defects, device for improving Mini LED back panel glass tempering warpage, paper laying device for Mini LED back panel glass production, etc.
