According to public information, the Skyworth Wuhan Mini LED Display Technology Industrial Park project has a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan, covering an area of approximately 327 acres, and will build five modern intelligent factories, a R&D center and related supporting facilities. After completion, it will mainly engage in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of Mini LED backlight modules and Mini LED display terminals. After being put into operation, it will form an intelligent manufacturing base for Mini LED display terminals with an annual output of more than 2.4 million units. It will also become the national headquarters of Skyworth Mini LED packaging and backlight modules.
Judging from the project construction progress, the Skyworth Wuhan Mini LED Display Technology Industrial Park project was launched in Wuhan in May 2021, and construction started in September of the same year; in April 2022, the underground civil construction and pile foundation of the main building were completed; in April 2023, the Skyworth Wuhan Mini The LED Display Technology Industrial Park project has been completed as a whole; in September of the same year, the project was put into production as a whole; starting from February 2024, 6 production lines were fully activated, with a total of 500,000 units shipped from January to June, three-quarters of which were exported; in October this year, its COB Mini LED backlight production line was officially put into production.
