Zhuhai’s new CINITY LED cinema hall, Japanese 8K LED dome screen drives passenger flow growth

Recently, the application of LED display technology in cinema entertainment and immersive cultural tourism has continued to expand. On the one hand, Zhuhai will add new cinema projects equipped with CINITY LED movie screens to further enrich high-end movie viewing scenes; on the other hand, Japan's first 8K LED dome flying theater will drive an increase in theme park passenger flow after it is put into operation.

The first store of UME Cinema in Zhuhai will be located in Guanghehui, Gongbei Port, with a CINITY LED cinema

Recently, the first store of UME Cinema in Zhuhai has been confirmed to be located in Guanghehui, Gongbei Port, Zhuhai. The cinema has a total of 7 cinemas planned, including 6 standard cinemas and 1 CINITY LED cinema.

Among them, the CINITY LED cinema uses a 20-meter ultra-large sound-transparent LED movie screen, supports 4K resolution, high frame rate projection of up to 120 frames, and has display characteristics such as high brightness, high contrast, and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. In terms of sound system, the theater will be equipped with a Dolby Atmos system.

In addition to movie screenings, the cinema also plans to introduce diversified content such as performances, live events, and two-dimensional activities to expand the application scenarios of the cinema space. At the same time, a VIP cinema is set up to meet different viewing needs.

UME Cinema is one of the domestic cinema brands. This project is located in the Gongbei Port area of Zhuhai, relying on the advantages of Zhuhai-Macao transportation hub to further enrich the local cultural and entertainment industry.

Japan’s first 8K LED dome flying theater drives passenger flow to increase by 20%

According to Taiwan Economic Daily, the 8K LED flying theater built by Zhiwei was officially opened in the Japanese theme park Huis Ten Bosch in September last year. It is Japan’s first flying theater using LED dome technology. Huis Ten Bosch President Kotaro Komura said recently that since the introduction of the project, the number of visitors to the park has increased by about 20% compared to before.

According to reports, the Flying Theater can continuously update the experience by changing the film content, and has higher content operation flexibility than traditional large-scale amusement facilities. Kotaro Komura pointed out that the investment scale of new amusement facilities in general theme parks is relatively large and usually corresponds to a single IP, while the Flying Theater can achieve diversified operations through content updates.

Currently, Huis Ten Bosch has launched theme content such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion Flight Theater 8K". Kotaro Komura said that "Neon Genesis Evangelion", as a well-known anime IP in Japan, has strong appeal to young and male tourists, and it will also help drive the development of related derivative products.
