29.5 billion, the world’s first G8.6 generation printed OLED production line has reached its peak

On May 8, TCL CSOT announced that the t8 project, the world’s first G8.6 generation printed OLED production line, has been capped ahead of schedule.

It is reported that the main body of the TCL CSOT t8 project will officially start construction in November 2025. The project is jointly funded and constructed by TCL CSOT, the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, and the Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee. The total investment amount is approximately RMB 29.5 billion. The designed monthly processing capacity of glass substrates (2290mm×2620mm) is approximately 22,500 pieces. It is the world's first large-scale mass production of G8.6 generation printed OLEDs. production line.

TCL Huaxing said that the implementation of this production line will promote the upgrade of the display industry from traditional evaporation to the green, efficient, high-yield, and highly adaptable printed OLED route, break the long-term single technology pattern of high-generation OLEDs, and help TCL Huaxing achieve a key leap from following to running alongside and then leading, further consolidating its global leading position in the new display field.
