Apple is rumored to switch to MiniLED backlight technology for Studio Display next year

On July 12, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg published an article revealing that Apple will update its Studio Display display product line early next year. The internal code of the machine is J427, which will be released together with the Mac equipped with the M5 chip.

Gurman did not announce the specific improvements of the machine, but previously analyst Ross Young believed that Apple is likely to switch to Mini LED backlight for the corresponding display and continue to maintain the 5K 60Hz parameters. For comparison, the machine currently uses LED backlight technology, which can be regarded as a continuation of the display technology used in the 27-inch 5K iMac.
