On February 3, the 2026 European Audiovisual Integrated Equipment and Technology Exhibition (ISE 2026) opened in Barcelona, Spain. According to LEDinside's on-site observation, many Chinese LED manufacturers have set up exhibition areas around retail, commercial display, education, entertainment and other application scenarios to display various innovative display products. Among them, MIP and COB products have become more popular, MIP 0.9 display screens, Micro LED COB all-in-one machines and other products appeared frequently, and the image quality and other performance of COG products were upgraded; creative display screens such as textured screens, curved screens, spherical screens, double-sided screens, transparent screens, and folding screens were dazzling, and relevant booths were crowded; in addition, users' attention and emphasis on the "energy-saving" effect of products has further increased.
TrendForce: Mini LED TV penetration rate is estimated to be revised up to 10% in 2026
According to TrendForce Consulting estimates, the subsidy policy in the Chinese market will continue to be favorable in 2026, and the conditions will be limited to first-class energy-consuming products, which will benefit Mini LED models. Leading brands also demonstrated their RGB TV technology at CES 2026, and reduced the product size to a more user-friendly 55-75 inches, creating a strong sense of competition. With a total investment of 5 billion, Nitron Micro LED high-end display manufacturing project has started
On February 3, Kunshan Development Zone announced that recently, Nitron Technology’s Micro LED high-end display manufacturing project with a total investment of 5 billion has obtained a construction license, and the project has officially started construction. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the second to third quarter of 2026. It will mainly provide local panel factories with services for transferring chips to large glass backplanes.
Adding 22,000 square meters, Chenxian Optoelectronics plans to expand Micro LED production capacity
On February 4, Chengdu High-tech Zone government documents showed that Chenxian Optoelectronics plans to expand Micro LED production capacity, and will update equipment with lower capacity in the existing production line such as curing ovens, PECVD and cutting machines, and purchase more than 130 sets of new seal transfer equipment, high-performance screen cutting machines and other equipment. After the completion of the project, the annual production capacity of glass-based P0.78 micro-pitch Micro LED display will be 22,000 square meters.
Silan Microelectronics Headquarters R&D, Testing and Production Base Project was successfully capped
On January 28, Silan Microelectronics Headquarters R&D, Testing and Production Base Project was capped off in Binjiang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The base will serve as the company's R&D, testing and verification center for high-end chips and LED-related products, focusing on supporting the development of next-generation power semiconductors, sensors, high-end analog integrated circuits and LED chips.
Sichuan Jingyan signed a contract with an annual output of 10 billion chips packaging and testing and LED manufacturing projects
On January 29, Jingyan County, Sichuan held a signing ceremony for a 10 billion chip packaging and testing project and a new LED smart display manufacturing project. The contracted project is invested and constructed by Shenzhen Qihao Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Guangdong Zhongji Technology Co., Ltd. and other companies. Among them, the annual 10 billion chip packaging and testing project mainly lays out the chip packaging and testing links; the new LED smart display manufacturing project is built around the research and development and manufacturing of LED display products.
Longyan Wuping Lizhicheng high-end LED display project has been put into production
It was reported on January 27 that the Lizhicheng high-end LED display production project located in Wuping High-tech Zone, Longyan, Fujian has entered the production stage. The total investment of the project is about 500 million yuan, and it is planned to build 3 patch production lines, 2 module assembly production lines and 5 aging detection production lines, as well as supporting related production equipment and material systems. At present, some production lines have been put into use, mainly producing LED flexible modules, with a daily output of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 pieces.

AUO jointly launched a transparent Micro LED interactive advertising machine
On January 30, Shenzhen Faytech Technology Co., Ltd. (faytech), AUO and Napster announced a hardware cooperation. At ISE 2026, the 30-inch transparent Micro LED interactive advertising machine product Napster Station will be displayed for the first time. The screen brightness is about 600 nits, the transparency is over 60%, the contrast ratio is about 1,000,000:1, and the resolution is 960×540.
The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is equipped with Micro LED headlights
On January 29, Mercedes-Benz released the new S-Class sedan. The new model is equipped with the latest generation of Digital Light digital headlight system. Up to 25,000 Micro LEDs are integrated into a single headlight, and up to 50,000 Micro LEDs are integrated into the dual headlights, which are driven by high-performance chips. Compared with the previous generation, its lighting range has been expanded by approximately 40%, significantly improving the clarity of vision around corners at night.
Yingmu teamed up with LOHO to release Micro LED AR glasses
On January 30, the glasses brand LOHO cooperated with Yingmu Technology to launch its first native all-in-one AI glasses - Lohas AI. The glasses are equipped with a single green Micro LED display + optical waveguide technology. The screen brightness of the glasses reaches 1500nits. Chinese brands are developing Micro LED smart watches
According to news on February 4, Chinese wearable device manufacturer Amazfit is developing its second-generation T-Rex Ultra smart watch. According to recently leaked product spy photos, the new phone T-Rex Ultra 2 is expected to be equipped with a 1.5-inch Micro LED screen with a peak brightness of over 3,000 nits.
Chinese team develops Micro LED optogenetic brain-computer interface technology
On February 3, Lingang Laboratory public account reported that the Chinese research team achieved a breakthrough in the field of brain-computer interface. The research team used megapixel Micro LED panels to develop a mesoscopic optogenetic cortical stimulation system, which successfully induced precise light visual sensations consistent with retinal topological distribution.

Signify: 2025 full-year revenue of 47.27 billion yuan
On January 30, Signify officially released its 2025 full-year performance report. Signify said that due to weak demand and regional differentiation, price competition and gross profit pressure, and rising costs, the company achieved sales of 5.765 billion euros for the whole year; free cash flow reached 440 million euros; adjusted profit before interest, taxes, and amortization was 511 million euros.
21 LED-related listed companies released 2025 performance forecasts
This week, about 21 domestic LED-related listed companies announced 2025 performance forecasts. Among them, Chenfeng Technology is expected to achieve a growth in net profit attributable to the parent company, with a year-on-year increase of approximately 118.14%~227.21%.
