Jiangxi’s first 20-meter fully sound-transparent LED movie screen officially launched

At 19:00 on the evening of January 22, Lopu’s 20-meter fully sound-transparent LED movie screen was officially unveiled in Hall 2 of Yichun SFC Shanghai Film International Cinema. This is the third 20-meter fully sound-transparent LED movie screen to officially enter the public eye after the successful launch of similar screens in Nanjing and Hangzhou. It is also the first 20-meter fully sound-transparent LED movie screen in Jiangxi Province.

Information shows that Nanjing Lopu was founded in 1988 and is affiliated with the 14th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group. It is one of the earliest institutions in China to develop and produce large-scale LED displays. In 2022, its LED movie screen LP-CINEMA-100 has obtained DCI certification and will be put into use in theaters in Nanjing and India.

In August 2024, Nanjing Lopu announced that its 20-meter 4K fully sound-transparent LED movie screen passed DCI certification. This product measures 20.48 meters wide and 10.8 meters high. It not only meets the theater's SDR and HDR standards, but also uses innovative fully sound-transparent technology. Lopu's fully sound-transparent movie screen has four characteristics: full sound transmission, full sound transmission, full anti-reflection and full compatibility.

On October 11, 2024, the world's first 20-meter fully sound-transparent LED movie screen developed by Nanjing Lopu was put into use in Nanjing. On December 21 of the same year, the 20-meter fully sound-transparent LED movie screen was officially put into use in Hangzhou.
