Lipxin Microelectronics completes Series C strategic financing

Recently, Sichuan Suining Lipxin Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Lipxin Microelectronics"), a provider of integrated circuit packaging and testing solutions, completed the C round of strategic financing. This round of financing was jointly participated by SAIC Venture Capital and Shangqi Capital. The financing funds will be used for product research and development to help promote Lipxin to further accelerate its move into the automotive market.

Information shows that Lipxin Microelectronics was founded in April 2015. Its business covers the two fields of integrated circuit design and packaging and testing, and can provide solutions for a variety of consumer and industrial electronics application scenarios. The company has successively set up chip design centers and R&D teams in Chengdu, Shenzhen, Xiamen and other places, and built a digital packaging and testing factory in Suining.

In terms of R&D and design business, Lipxin Microelectronics has created its own chip brand-"Depu". In the past two years, DP has shipped tens of billions of units and has provided solutions to more than a thousand end customers in consumer and industrial electronics fields such as LED display, LED lighting, power management, lithium battery protection, and MCU.

In the field of automotive chips, Lipxin Microelectronics has planned and laid out vehicle-mounted controllers, vehicle batteries, automotive lighting and other related products around the company's "915" development strategy, and has built an automotive-grade chip R&D team. The core members of the team come from leading automotive-grade companies such as NXP and have extensive experience in mass production of automotive-grade products.

Up to now, Lipxin Microelectronics' independently designed automotive-grade power devices, lamp drivers and other products have entered the tape-out stage, and the packaging and testing factory has passed the IATF 16949:2016 automotive quality management system certification.
