Tesla LED drive-in cinema opens for trial in Los Angeles, USA

On July 20, Tesla's first "Supercharger Diner" officially launched its trial operation in Los Angeles, including the Hollywood restaurant and Supercharger station. The most eye-catching thing is that the super charging station is equipped with two 45-foot LED car theater screens, integrating LED movie screens with charging services.

The Tesla Supercharging Restaurant is equipped with 80 V4 super charging piles, and the movies and video audio played on the two LED movie screens can be played simultaneously from the speakers inside the Tesla car. In addition, car owners can order food directly from the screen in the Tesla car. The menu includes burgers, French fries, chicken wings, hot dogs, milkshakes, sandwiches and other fast food.

This restaurant was conceived by Tesla CEO Elon Musk in 2018. The design is inspired by drive-in restaurants in the 1950s and incorporates some retro elements, such as large-size movie screens, waiters on roller skates, and classic gourmet menus. You can also see Tesla’s “Optimus Prime” humanoid robot working as a waiter and selling popcorn at the scene.
