Optoelectronic companies’ performance improved
This year, thanks to the rebound in consumer electronics, some panel prices have rebounded, and semiconductor display industries such as LED and OLED have bottomed out to varying degrees. Judging from the latest quarterly report, Shenzhen Tianma has turned a loss into a profit, and its net profit has increased by more than 100%; in the third quarter, Sanan Optoelectronics’ net profit growth reached 2278.24%, ranking at the forefront of the industry.
LED production mainly includes two aspects: chips and packaging. In terms of chips, my country's LED companies have a market share of about 77%. The leading companies include not only Sanan Optoelectronics and Qianzhao Optoelectronics from our city, but also Huacan Optoelectronics and Zhaochi Co., Ltd.
As a national LED industry center, Xiamen is my country's largest LED epitaxial chip manufacturing base and the only pilot city for the national optoelectronic display industry cluster. The latest official data shows that from January to August this year, the city's electronic information industry grew by 3.8%, of which liquid crystal display modules and integrated circuits grew by 68.7% and 31.6% respectively. As a representative enterprise in the industry, Qianzhao Optoelectronics achieved a net profit of over 100% in the first three quarters.Growth, Chenzhan Optoelectronics also achieved a net profit growth of 44%.
