Tianma launches Mini LED automotive display group standard

On October 11, the T/CVIA 165-2025 "General Specifications for Automotive Mini LED Backlight LCD Displays" group standard developed by Tianma was officially released under the organization of the China Electronic Visual Industry Association Micro-LED Display Industry Branch (CMMA).

The "General Specifications for Vehicle-mounted Mini LED Backlit LCD Displays" standard stipulates the technical requirements, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of vehicle-mounted Mini LED backlit LCD displays. It is suitable for the design, production and delivery of vehicle-mounted Mini LED backlit LCD displays for central control, instrumentation and entertainment. By establishing key technical indicators such as brightness, dynamic contrast, halo contrast, and color gamut, unified technical specifications for Mini LED automotive products have been established. The release of the standard fills a gap in the industry and helps accelerate the application of Mini LED technology in the automotive field. It also provides consumers with a basis for selection and helps OEMs create a higher-end, safer, and more technological smart cockpit experience. It is of great significance to promoting the healthy, orderly, and rapid development of the automotive display industry.
