The list is out! The special Class A qualifications for lighting engineering design of these enterprises have been extended!

Recently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has successively issued announcements on the approval of the qualification renewal list of construction engineering enterprises in 2023. So far, four batches of lists have been released.

Among them, the first to fourth batches of the "List of Units Approved for Engineering Design Qualification Extension" show that a total of 66 units, including Dongliang International Lighting Design (Beijing) Center Co., Ltd., Liangye Technology Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Luoman Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., Longteng Lighting Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Mingjiahui Technology Co., Ltd., and CIC Optoelectronics Industry (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., have passed the special Class A application for lighting engineering design, and after review, the application was successfully extended.

Since the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued a notice on qualification extension, many lighting engineering companies are busy applying for or preparing for qualification extension. If there are companies that are not aware of the extension, they can pay attention or take action.
It is reported that on October 16, 2023, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued the "Notice of the Construction Market Supervision Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on matters related to the renewal of the qualifications of construction engineering enterprises", clarifying:

The qualifications of engineering survey, engineering design, construction industry enterprises, and engineering supervision enterprises issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development:

① If the validity period of the certificate expires before December 31, 2023, you can apply to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development for the extension of the validity period of the qualification certificate from now on;
② If the validity period expires after December 31, 2023, you can apply to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development for the extension of the validity period of the qualification certificate in accordance with the relevant qualification management regulations.
If an enterprise applies for extension of the validity period of the qualification certificate after the validity period of the qualification certificate has expired, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will not accept it.
Subsequently, Hebei, Shandong, Guizhou, Guangdong, Hainan South China, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Guangxi, Jiangsu and other places have issued qualification renewal notices, and each province has different requirements. On December 28, 2023, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on the Replacement and Renewal of Qualification Certificates for Construction Engineering Enterprises" clarifying:

The "Notice of the State Council on Deepening the Reform of "Separation of Certificates and Licenses" to Further Stimulate the Development Vitality of Market Entities" (Guofa [2021] No. 7) decides to cancel the qualifications of construction engineering enterprises. The enterprises can replace the corresponding professional qualification certificates valid for one year before the expiration of the qualification certificates.

Class C and D qualifications in engineering survey and design can be exchanged for the Class B qualification certificate of the same profession;
Class III qualifications in construction general contracting and professional contracting can be exchanged for the Class II qualification certificate of the same profession.
