Spot checks on lighting fixtures in many places are exposed! Don’t let lights become a “ticking time bomb”

Towards the end of the year, local market supervision bureaus intensively announced the results of spot inspections on the quality of lighting fixtures.
Shaanxi Province: 6 batches of unqualified products are all from Guangdong
2025, Shaanxi Province The Market Supervision and Administration Bureau organized product quality supervision and spot inspections. Among them, the results of spot inspections on fixed general-purpose lamps were recently announced: In the circulation areas of Xi'an, Weinan, Yan'an, Hanzhong, Ankang and other regions, a total of 30 batches of fixed general-purpose lamps sold by 28 companies were randomly inspected, and 6 batches of products were found to have quality problems.

The unqualified items in this spot inspection cover a variety of safety and performance indicators, including harassment voltage (power interface), radiation harassment (30MHz~1GHz), harmonic current, product structure, energy efficiency level, energy efficiency limit, external and internal wiring, color rendering index, etc.
Judging from the specific unqualified products: ◆ Products sold by many lighting stores in Baota District, Yan'an City have problems such as harassment voltage, radiation harassment, harmonic current, and irregular wiring; ◆ The fixed LED lamps (ceiling type) of Xi'an Shaanxi Jinbaoli Lighting Co., Ltd. have structural defects; ◆ The energy efficiency level and energy efficiency limit of the products of Senzhiyuan Lighting Store in Hantai District, Hanzhong City are not Meets the standards; ◆ Some products also have multiple unqualified problems, such as external wiring, harassment voltage, color rendering index and other indicators that do not meet the requirements.
It is worth mentioning that the production units of the six batches of unqualified products are all from Guangdong Province, including Zhongshan Aokeshi Lighting and other brands.
The Shaanxi Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau stated that it will urge relevant operators to implement quality main responsibilities for unqualified products found in this spot inspection, make rectifications in accordance with laws and regulations, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
Ningxia: 2 batches failed
According to the website of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Market Supervision Department, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Market Supervision Department recently organized a special supervision and spot check on the quality of products sold in the e-commerce field in 2025. It was found that two batches of reading and writing desk lamps and LED lamps were unqualified. The production units were Shenzhen Yixu Technology Co., Ltd. and Changfang Group Kangmingsheng (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd.

The unqualified items are heat resistance, fire resistance and marking resistance, which can easily cause the insulation material to be deformed and burned by heat for a long time, causing the protection against electric shock to fail and causing electric shock and fire accidents.
After analysis, the main reasons for the failure are: some production companies do not strictly implement national standards and purchase unqualified insulation materials; backward production technology and old equipment, resulting in product structure and wiring that do not meet the requirements; lack of necessary heat-resistant and fire-resistant testing equipment.
